Awful comp plans. Completely sliced our comp plans into 1/10 of what we used to make. Keeps increasing our goals and lowering our commission. Company was bought out by another company and they are laying everyone off and stressing out higher ups and relaying the stress onto all other employees like myself. Open office layout is a joke, everyone can hear each other breathe. Training program here is completely scuffed - had to train myself. You will get fired if you underperform.
Never can work from home - however only the higher ups can. We are stuck in the office on fridays while everyone else 'works' from home sending us nasty emails. 2/3 of the workforce should be fired.
They don’t work. Management inexperienced in business matters. Lawsuit waiting to happen. Upper management discriminates against race, gender& creed.
Work environment is oppressive. HR department is just for show. If you ruffle feathers, they are fired. As Software company, they do not have real developers that know the software (in-house), develop or have new ideas. This has led to an objective is to buy other companies and absorbs their software products. Rocket doesn’t transition new companies into their culture. They closed office locations & call transition completed.
They always layoff the staff and the new staff eventually leave. They can get better positions. Finance & Legal department has the same mentality. There is no one that understand the software or services business. Rocket has no customers relationship & unwilling to service them.
Many unhappy large corporations. Rocket is an unusual business in today's tech economy, in that it's not a SaaS company.
It serves the needs customers have with respect to legacy infrastructure, and has customers among the largest companies in the global economy. The people are great, and the company culture is centered around success of Rocketeers, partners, and most importantly, customers. The environment is demanding, but the organization values the team, and people are generally trying to succeed together. It is not Darwinian, despite being intense.
